Below is an art project we did for Thanksgiving. They are wonderful and resemble stained glass.
These two turkeys sit along side a pumpkin we also made in art class. The students worked on shading when they did the pumpkins. They used darker colors to add depth that looks like the lines on a pumpkin.

This is the second day the students spent exploring owl pellets.

 A large rodent skull.

This appears to be a vertebrae according to our chart.
This also was a very large skull.

Teeth in what was a very big skull. It appears to be from a large rodent such as a rat.
The kids were amazed that they were finding bones that looked exactly like the ones on the chart.

These are the bottom jaw from what we believe was a rat.
One student found more than 6 skulls on her owl pellet.

Some of the bones found in an owl pellet. This was a very interesting learning experience for the students.

We did an explore activity with owl pellets this week. The owl pellets were full of bones and hair from animals the owls had eaten. The kids were amazed at what they found.
