A big thank you to Charlie for bringing in a sunflower the first week of Sept. for us to see and touch
before we drew our version of Vincent van Gogh sunflowers. 






Our genre this week in September was plays.
Here the students are reading through plays in reading class.

Thanksgiving week the students got the chance to do a few Reader's Theatre plays during reading class.

Third grade making ginger bread houses in early December. I love this project for the kids.

After caroling the week before Christmas, the students went to the nursing home to sing the songs from the Elementary Christmas concert.


While learning about changes over time, Luke brought a phone that was used a very long time ago. The students enjoyed trying it out. What a big change to the cell phones of today.
