What better way to understand timelines than to create a timeline of your own life. Students chose up to 10 events from their life. They then created a timeline adding some pictures to go with their important life events. Click on the pictures to enlarge them.

A recent math lesson was "determining the likelihood of an event and determining the fairness of a game." Students worked together with spinners that were divided into equal and unequal sections to see what color they would get most often when they used each spinner.





In third grade, I like to have the students try many different types of media, or materials, to create a work of art. On this project, the students created a snowman painting with a cork. 




The students were learning idioms a few weeks ago. They all chose an idiom they wanted to draw. Here is a few of them.
