This is the last picture taken for the 2013-2014 school year. We all learned a lot, had lots of fun, worked hard, and now look forward to a wonderful, warm summer!
We spent part of the last full day of school at the park. The day was cool. Some of the kids had fun racing each other around the park.
Visiting the granite state line markers near where I grew up. The kids thought the markers were pretty "cool."
Some of the kids are leaning into South Dakota and some in North Dakota!
The pictures above are taken inside a one room school house. At one time there were over 100 one room schools in McPherson County in South Dakota.
Below the kids are inside an original sod house.
Visiting the Pioneer Museum in Eureka, South Dakota.
One of the great things about the Pioneer Museum in Eureka, is they allow the kids to sit on the tractors and trucks they have. I heard one student say they had never sat on a tractor. It was fun to watch how excited they all were.
The kids found this jail very interesting.
Trying out the metal beds.
We went to the Pioneer Museum in Eureka, South Dakota the last week of school. The museum has many great exhibits the kids enjoyed.
All the kids worked on writing a fictional story at the end of the year and here they are sharing them with the class.
